Assaggetti

A concept based on Italian small plates for sharing which follows the simple philosophy of light bites without compromising on taste. This is food to love, to share, to talk about. Aesthetically Assaggetti is a modern, bright restaurant, with big oak tables and flooring, earthy colours and vintage mirrors with aged gilt frames, as well as a colourful feature wall and an impressive large state-of-the-art Phillips and Wood glass chandelier. The design team behind Assaggetti was a collaboration between Grafico and Rory Cashin Design, who drew inspiration from New York cicchetti-style restaurants which set the standard for the casual shared dining experience. Assaggetti was created to offer exciting dishes in a flexible, affordable format. Start with a glass of prosecco or classic Italian spritz with Campari or Aperol and a selection of mouthwatering stuzzicchini (appetisers) such as marinated anchovies, creamy burrata and selection of pizzettine with a variety of toppings. Move on to the main event, with classic flavours and dishes such as Vitello tonnato, Beef tagliata and wild mushroon risotto, available as small and bigger portions. Finish with a delicious desert of a size that won't leave you feeling guilty (or order a couple!) with classics such as Tiramisu alongside exciting tastes like Gelato ubriaco (drunk ice-cream): chocolate ice-cream with Frangelico hazelnut liqueur. Assaggetti, which seats 120 across the restaurant and bar areas on two floors, offers casual counter stool dining, with the opportunity to dine in a more formal setting in the main restaurant area.
