OUR STORY
1947 London has been born out of a desire to bring to London an authentic taste of India in all its glory, reminiscent of recipes that evolved out of the movement of peoples and cultures during the 1947 partition

Prepared by our Michelin-experienced chefs, our Pan Indian menu features small plates, sharing bowls as well as biryanis, rice, breads and desserts inspired by the Tangra Chinatown of old Calcutta

I booked a table for 8:30 for my birthday for me and my friend. we got there on time and had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. I had booked this 2 months prior to the day and i didn’t even receive an apology from the staff. The food was not as good as i thought it would be and definitely not worth the price of it. The place itself was very nice however will not be going back as the service was shocking
