I booked a table here for my best friends family stag lunch. We had a lovely table and the people who served us were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a wonderful, relaxed and fun lunch and felt we were very well looked after. Would definitely come back again and will highly recommend to others. The pub is also an extremely characterful building and was very nicely styled inside and out.

Nice but expected better

Menu sounded great but food didn't quite live up to expectations. For instance halloumi chips came with sweet chilli sauce already poured on them so they were soggy before we started. They also came with cream cheese as a sauce?? Fries were a bit average. Pretzel bun and heritage tomato slices tasted great but veggie burger itself or toppings weren't very exciting. Staff welcomed us but then never came to ask about the food after serving us. A few little touches could make it so much nicer.

Went here for a quick bite, it was lovely place, looked nice inside, staff were friendly and food was nice and well priced. Pub grub with a bit more style, it was a little on the cold side but it is quite a big place so probably half the reason. Would go again and would recomend.
