Bellanger

Bellanger is inspired by the original Alsatian brasseries of Paris. A relaxed, all-day, traditional French restaurant on Islington Green (from the team behind The Wolseley and Brasserie Zédel). Bellanger is open seven days a week, mid-morning until late, whether for a simple cup of coffee with cake to a 'grand repas'. Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday. An extensive à la carte menu with classic Alsatian overtones is offered for lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday, and dinner on Saturday & Sunday. The menu features typical dishes such as choucroute, baeckeoffe and a range of tartes flambées, and a variety of soups, salads, seafood and a number of sharing dishes. To follow, a wide selection of gateaux, tartes and, of course, ice cream coupes. This is complemented by a list of principally French-based wines and traditional dark and blonde Alsace-Lorraine beers on tap. Throughout the day until late at night, Bellanger is open for a large selection of pâtisseries, gateaux, mignardises and biscuits, accompanied by a variety of coffees, teas and drinks.
