What is Teppanyaki?
The word Teppanyaki is derived from 'Teppan' meaning iron plate and 'Yaki' meaning grilled. This is a unique culinary art where highly skilled chefs prepare and cook your food right before your eyes. Our highly experienced chefs are the pride and joy of Samurai Winchester; with each training for 3-5 years to become a master of their craft.
Hourly Booking Slots:
Teppanyaki Tables are available on the hour, every hour, you get a 2 hour dining slot, available at both Lunch & Dinner times. We have 2 tables both seating up to 15 people. We cater for a variety of large parties & kids are always welcome. Seating is shared between groups, unless it's a large party of 12 or more people.

I love this place . Their sushi and set menu are always very good and the teppanyaki table is fun with other people joining the teppanyaki , they your are not by yourself. Enjoy

I’ve been to a few hibachi restaurants in USA , samurai teppanyaki restaurant is one of the best in Winchester uk . Lovely staters , followed by best steak and prawns with grilled vegetables and egg fried rice. Will keep coming back when back to Winchester.

table not ready when turned up -and lots of glasses on tables etc -seemed short staffed and waited 30 mins for table -no offer of free drink for wait etc and place looks like it could do with an overhaul food was good -just need to sort service and enough staff to cope -also should have offered courtesy drink ,as they were specific re being on time for the teppanyaki service

We had visited this restaurant by a recommendation for a birthday occasion and could not have been happier, the staff were very accommodating and the chef Manuu was excellent, very good cooking skills and food was incredible! Would recommend to anyone, it was such a great experience.
