Sushi Garden

Sushi Garden, located on Brighton's Preston Street, is a vibrant little Japanese restaurant that offers a great combination of traditional Japanese dishes and less well-known modern fusion cooking – served Japanese-style by staff in kimono robes, with Japanese music played in the background. The offering includes tempura, bento boxes and noodle dishes, accompanied by a large variety of California sushi rolls. The bento boxes offer the best value with good tempura, fresh salad and high quality meat. Never tried Japanese food? Try ordering one of the set menus to sample everything in one go! The 8-course Yama and Umi offer a selection of reduced-size dishes from the à la carte menu including a traditional Japanese dessert. Why not round off your meal with a chilled sake to complete your Japanese experience? The drink menu had a few interesting choices such as plum wine and some unusual Japanese beers. Great atmosphere, speedy and polite service, reasonably priced, tremendous choice of dishes, a great balance and combination of flavours and very high quality food make the Sushi Garden a must try restaurant for Japanese food lover. Highly recommended if you if you are fed up with visiting typical Japanese chain outlets and like to enjoy freshly-made sushi, sashimi and U-don noodles. A take away service is also available.
