The Stag & Hounds has always been a focal point for the village of Binfield, conveniently situated between Binfield and Warfield and has for many years been known for its fine fare and hospitality. We hope that you will find that this long tradition of quality food, fine beers and great service continues and improves.
Muddy paws are welcome too both the two and four leg variety, and there are plenty of quiet corners where they can watch the comings and goings… and there are some great walks right on the doorstep, perfect for letting off a bit of steam before a feast.
You can choose a table in the main dining area or enjoy a quieter spot in one of the more intimate character corners… and if you’re lucky enough you may even be able to bag the top spot by our roaring open fire, the perfect spot to plot up on a chilly day…

Three of us dined in the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. We booked online and our table was ready waiting for us. We ordered starters, mains and dessert. All food and drink was good. Waiting staff were attentive and food was served fairly quickly. The only downsides were the ribeye steak on the menu was not available and the specials menu dessert; apple and blackberry crumble with custard was good but a little on the too sweet side. Would dine there again. For a Tuesday evening they were busy.
