The Commander

The Commander Porterhouse and Oyster Bar is a relaxed and friendly, North American inspired restaurant in London. Ideal for almost any occasion, the bar is located just off of Westbourne Grove near Notting Hill. Serving great homemade dishes throughout the day from noon until late, the bar is ideal for an informal get together with friends, a business lunch or an intimate three-course dinner. Hosting monthly events with a focus on Champagne, oysters and wine tastings, the bar is often bustling with trendy Notting Hill clientele. The Commander also has several beautiful private dining rooms, which can be used for celebration dinners, business meetings, canapé receptions, screenings and much more. Seating is available for up to 60 guests. The bar now also boasts The Vignette, a wine lounge and tasting venue. With intimate seating for up to 14 guests, this private dining room provides the discerning wine lover with a choice of over 100 varieties of wine. During the summer months, the terrace and courtyard provide the perfect setting for a spot of alfresco dining.
