Andrew Edmunds
Established in 1986, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18th century town house has, for almost thirty years, attracted many loyal guests. This is the perfect spot for old-school romance, particularly during the evening when it is lit almost entirely by the wine bottle candles scattered on the wooden tables. It has a relaxed, no pretence atmosphere and a delicious bistro-style menu filled with fresh, seasonal classics. There is also a well-priced wine list, stocked with fabulous French vintages, and a good selection of Italian, South American, Australian and South African blends, to cater for other worldly palates.
If you are tired of the boring many new concepts and high street chains, there is so much to be smitten about at Andrew Edmunds. There is also a private room available (Saturdays and Sundays) for parties up to 25 guests.
