The Marine Bar & Restaurant

The restaurant at the Marine Hotel offers a varied menu with an emphasis on freshly caught seafood, served in a relaxed atmosphere with some of the best views in Whitby. The bar has a small grand piano and live piano music, sometimes with a singer, on Fridays and Saturdays and occasional week-nights. There are four luxury suites all with either sea or harbour views.

Great x Husband not well, waitress was brilliant, even got him a cup of tea. Food fantastic.

Been coming for years and the food is divine! Service is fabulous and I can’t fault the place in any way.

Started off great, very chatty and helpful, but we never got asked for further drinks and once our meals had been cleared there was no offer of dessert, coffee or anything actually. It was as though they wanted us out, needless to say I left zero tip which is unlike me as I work on the hospitality business. This as put me right off returning which may is a shame as we have a holiday home in Whitby and this was your first visit to your restaurant.
