The Blue Bicycle Restaurant

The Blue Bicycle in York is a fine dining restaurant specialising in fish. Guests can expect a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in a rustic venue with wooden tables and flagstone floors. At the turn of the century the cellar was a brothel of some repute, downstairs, there are photographs of some of the girls, who perhaps, plied their wares. Diners can be served romantic dinners in the private vaulted booths (or beds) for two, which are situated in the opulent and atmospheric dining area. The Blue Bicycle is renowned for its fresh fish dishes, home-made desserts and an excellent selection of fine wines.
