Twenty Four St Georges
24 St. Georges is located in the heart of Kemp Town, Brighton. The restaurant is committed to using local and seasonal produces and offers modern European menus that change regularly to reflect this. Each dish is lovingly prepared in such a way as to bring out the very best of these fresh ingredients. Although the menus are creative, the aim is simple: to provide an enjoyable experience with food that looks and tastes fantastic.
The restaurant is managed by Dean and Jamie who have been working together since 2006, sharing a passion for food and exceptional service. They opened 24 St Georges in December 2010. Dean Heselden was born and bred in Brighton, and began his cheffing career in 1996, spending a good portion of his time living and working as a chef in the Mediterranean. Dean won the extremely prestigious industry title of Tilda Chef of the Year 2010 at the Salon Culinaire de Londres Hotelympia Exhibition, competing against some of the best chefs in the UK. He was also a semi-finalist in the National Chef of the Year competition 2010 and recently won 24 St. Georges a place in the 2013 Michelin Guide. Jamie Everton-Jones changed his career path in 2002 to pursue his passion for food and culinary dreams and is Dean's creative sounding board with menu development and his primary role lies with overseeing the rest of the operation outside of the kitchen
The dishes change frequently and the approach to the menu is consistent in that the balance of dishes available remain the same, with ingredients & composition changing to reflect the seasons.
A personalised service for functions and weddings is also available, with Head Chef Dean Heselden taking great pleasure in creating bespoke menus, with gastronomic flare using only the very best in fresh produce. The restaurant can accommodate up to 40 guests and guarantee that you will have an intimate and memorable experience.
If you are looking for a more intimate dining experience, private dining is available in the ever popular 'Blue Room' on the main floor, providing a secluded dining area for up to 12 people, with direct access to a decked outside terrace. Lunch bookings are available for groups Tuesday to Friday.
