This small restaurant offers amazing food - beautifully cooked and presented. I had the mackerel with onion bhaji with a beautiful spicy sauce , followed by the hake - cooked to perfection. My husband had the roast beef - pink, juicy and lovely. We shared the panna cotta with rhubarb and ginger - again it was excellent. The staff are really attentive and offer a great service. I can not fault this restaurant - 10 out of 10!!

Exceptional quality tastes, warm welcome and plenty of noisy ambience in this little wine cellar of

The consistency of the offering is remarkable: three courses of perfection, beautifully presented and oozing originality. And we know our food and our Brighton/Hove eateries! The Sicilian segreto made an excellent wine pairing for everything. We were warmly ushered to our table like old friends and my wife, who is wheelchair-bound, neatly and comfortably accommodated at the table end. Prawn raviolo and duck breast stood out for special mention as did tartare and chocolate pavé. Hats off.

This was our second visit to this lovely restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service and food were excellent and the ambience was busy but not too loud, even though it was practically full. It's a relatively small venue which adds to the intimate atmosphere so is more suited to couples and small groups. When I casually remarked to the waiter that we were celebrating my husband's birthday, they brought a small decorated treat to our table, which was a lovely touch. We will return, for sure.
